CHILD DEDICATION
Child Dedication is a meaningful moment for parents to commit to raising their children in the faith and receive prayer and support from the church family. We invite you to take this step, celebrate your child, and let our church walk with you as you lead them spiritually.

Student Ministry FAQ's

What time should I arrive?
The best time to arrive is when our doors open at 5:45 PM (unless you are on the Student Setup Team). The gathering begins at 6:00 PM, and check-in is located at Guest Central. Pickup begins at 7:30 PM.

Should I drop my student off, or can I come inside?
You can drop off your student, but you’re welcome to come inside and meet the team before your student comes in to the gathering.

Does my child need to bring a bible? Which translation?
The church follows scripture through the ESV version of the bible. There will be a student study ESV bible available for your child. They may bring their own. If for some reason they do not have one or it isn’t available, scripture will be displayed or projected to follow along as it is read.

What will the night look like for my student?
Once you drop off your student at the main entrance, we will connect them with one of our trained volunteers or students. Our volunteer or student will walk your student through check-in, introduce them to other students their age, and hang out with them during the gathering. They will enjoy snacks provided by the church, listen to a few songs, play a game, and/or receive a message. After that, they will be split into a “Crew” which is a small group based on age and gender, led by a trained adult. In that group, they will discuss the focused section of scripture and share a bit about themself. We will end with a group prayer, then they will be dismissed!

Can the experience really "work" for both Junior High and Senior High School Students?
Yep! While we have one place for students to gather, we craft the ministry to have unique experiences for Junior High and Senior High School students. Each student will be with a small group of their grade and gender.

Does it cost anything for my student to attend?
No! We are a Kingdom-minded organization and would love to disciple your student through scripture-based learning and community minded approach. No cost or fee is necessary to attend!

Can my student or I contact the Student Ministry? If so, where and when?
You can contact the team at any point. The church has a “Sabbath Day” scheduled for each Friday, but we will get back to you as soon as possible. The church has Google Voice numbers directly assigned to each student ministry staff member. You can contact these numbers or email any of these individuals regarding any further questions.

Can my child bring a peer?
Yes! Your child can bring a friend. We encourage any and all students (7th-12th Grade) to experience our ministry program.
