GO INTO THE CHURCH

Going into the church means using your gifts to support and strengthen the community, whether through kids’ ministry, worship, greeting, or tech and hospitality teams. It’s a way to live out your faith, make a tangible impact, and grow closer to God and your church family.

THE KIDS TEAM
The Kids Team helps newborns through 6th grade experience the love of Jesus in a safe, joyful, and age-appropriate environment. From Bible lessons to classroom care, this team creates a place where kids are known, loved, and encouraged to grow in faith.

THE CAFE TEAM
The Café Team helps create a warm and welcoming Sunday environment one cup of coffee at a time. From brewing and serving to restocking and cleaning, this team makes the café a place where conversations start and people feel at home.

THE GREETING TEAM
The Greeting Team helps create a warm first impression from the moment people arrive. With a smile, a handshake, and a friendly welcome, this team helps every person feel seen, valued, and ready to gather for worship.

THE GUEST CENTRAL TEAM
Guest Central is often the first stop for new people, and this team helps every guest feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. They answer questions, help people take next steps, and create a warm first impression that says, “You belong here.”

THE BUDDY PROGRAM
The Buddy Program provides one-on-one support for children with special needs so every child can participate, belong, and experience Jesus’ love during our gatherings. Buddies help create a safe, caring, and welcoming environment where each child can thrive.

THE BAPTISM TEAM
The Baptism Team helps make Baptism Sundays smooth, joyful, and unforgettable. From behind-the-scenes details to celebrating each person’s step of obedience, this team helps create a meaningful moment for families, friends, and the whole church.

THE DECORATION TEAM
The Decoration Team brings warmth, beauty, and creativity to our church spaces. From seasonal décor to special events, this team helps create welcoming environments that feel thoughtful, excellent, and inviting.

THE WORSHIP TEAM
The Worship Team helps lead our church in singing, prayer, and praise as we respond to who God is and what He has done. Through music and worship leadership, this team helps create space for people to lift their eyes to Jesus together.

THE PRODUCTION TEAM
The Production Team helps bring each gathering to life behind the scenes through sound, lighting, video, and screens. Their work helps create a smooth, distraction-free environment so people can clearly hear, see, and engage with the Gospel.

THE PARKING TEAM
The Parking Team helps create a great first impression before anyone even walks through the doors. With friendly smiles and helpful guidance, this team helps guests arrive safely, smoothly, and feeling welcomed from the moment they pull in.

THE PHOTO TEAM
The Photo Team captures the moments that tell the story of what God is doing at Emmanuel Church. Through photos of worship, ministry, and community, this team helps celebrate God’s faithfulness and share the life of our church with others.

THE PRAYER TEAM
The Prayer Team comes alongside people with compassion, faith, and hope, lifting their needs to the Lord. Whether praying during services or standing with someone in a hard moment, this team helps create a culture of care and dependence on God.

THE ABLE TEAM
The ABLE Team helps create a welcoming and supportive environment where every individual with special needs are seen, valued, and included. Through patience, joy, and Christlike care, this team helps families experience the church as a place of belonging.

THE SAFETY TEAM
The Safety Team helps create a secure and supportive environment so everyone can worship with peace of mind. Serving quietly and faithfully behind the scenes, this team helps protect people, respond to needs, and care well for our church family during services and events.

THE STUDENT TEAM
The Student Leaders Team invests in students in grades 7–12 by building relationships, leading conversations, and pointing them to Jesus. This team helps create a fun, welcoming, and spiritually encouraging environment where students can grow in faith and community.

THE MISSION TEAM
The Mission Support Team helps Emmanuel stay connected to the missionaries we support and the Gospel work happening around the world. By encouraging, hosting, and caring for missionaries well, this team helps strengthen partnerships and keep our church engaged in God’s global mission.

THE CARE TEAM
The Care Team comes alongside people in seasons of need with practical help, spiritual encouragement, and compassionate support. Whether someone is hurting, overwhelmed, or walking through a difficult season, this team helps them feel seen, loved, and cared for in the name of Jesus.

GO INTO THE COMMUNITY

Going into the community means carrying the hope of Jesus beyond our walls and into the places where we live, work, learn, and serve. Through local partnerships, practical compassion, and Gospel-centered relationships, we get to love our neighbors, meet real needs, and make Jesus known right here in our region.

TRUE VINE CHURCH
True Vine Church is a church plant sent out from Emmanuel to bring the hope of Jesus to another community through Gospel-centered worship, discipleship, and mission. Our prayer is to see True Vine grow into a healthy, self-sustaining church that makes disciples, develops leaders, and shines the light of Christ in its community.

SOLOMON HOMES
Solomon Homes is all about neighbors reaching neighbors with the love of Jesus. Through meals, practical help, prayer, and meaningful relationships, this ministry brings encouragement and hope right into the heart of the community.

BIBLE2SCHOOL
Bible2School helps children learn about Jesus during the school week in a fun, age-appropriate, and engaging way. This ministry plants seeds of faith in young hearts and helps kids discover the hope and love of Christ.

EVERYDAY CHRISTIAN MEN
Everyday Christian Men helps men grow in faith, friendship, and Christlike leadership. Through Bible studies, service opportunities, fellowship, and events, this ministry encourages men to follow Jesus in everyday life. (ECVets Testimony)

FLOOD CITY FELLOWSHIP
Flood City Fellowship serves downtown Johnstown with meals, prayer, friendship, and the hope of Christ. This ministry builds real relationships with people in need and reminds them they are seen, loved, and not forgotten.

ARCHERY

SPORTSMEN FELLOWSHIP MINISTRIES
Sportsmen Fellowship Ministries uses archery and outdoor activities to build relationships with kids and point them to Jesus. Through a fun and unique environment, children are encouraged, mentored, and introduced to the hope of the Gospel.

NORTH CAROLINA REBUILD
North Carolina Rebuild sends teams to help families recover after devastating flood damage. Through hands-on work, encouragement, and prayer, this ministry brings practical help and the love of Christ to people rebuilding their homes and lives.

RUN HOME CAMP
Run Home Camp uses the game of baseball to share the life-changing hope of Jesus with children who may not otherwise have access to camp. Through fun, coaching, encouragement, and Gospel-centered relationships, kids experience both the joy of the game and the love of Christ. (UPDATE VIDEO)

KEYSTONE

KEYSTONE FAMILY ALLIANCE
Keystone Family Alliance mobilizes the church to care for vulnerable children and families across Pennsylvania. Through foster care support, orphan care, and practical encouragement, they help the church step into hard places with the love and compassion of Jesus.

BRIDGES

BRIDGES COOPERATIVE MINISTRY
Bridges Cooperative Ministry serves individuals and families facing poverty, hardship, and instability. As a practical resource center, Bridges helps people take meaningful next steps toward stability, support, and hope.

ST. VINCENT SOUP KITCHEN
St. Vincent Soup Kitchen provides warm meals, compassionate care, and a welcoming place for individuals and families facing hunger or hardship. This ministry reminds our community that every person deserves dignity, kindness, and hope.

NEWLIFE

NEW DAY
New Day offers Christ-centered support for people seeking healing, growth, and healthier relationships. Through care, encouragement, and practical guidance, this ministry helps people move toward freedom and wholeness.

BACKPACK

CAMBRIA COUNTY BACKPACK PROJECT
Cambria County Backpack Project helps fight childhood hunger by providing weekend meals for local children facing food insecurity. Through packing, giving, and community support, this ministry helps make sure kids in our region are cared for beyond the school week.

PRECIOUS LIFE
Precious Life comes alongside women facing unplanned pregnancies with compassion, support, and practical resources. This ministry helps women feel loved, informed, and empowered to choose life.

HARMONY

CAMP HARMONY
Camp Harmony creates Christ-centered camp experiences where kids, students, and families can grow in faith, build relationships, and make lasting memories. Through worship, adventure, and community, campers are invited to experience the hope and grace of Jesus.

YOUNG LIFE
Young Life reaches teenagers by meeting them right where they are. Through authentic friendships, fun environments, and trusted leaders, students are invited to discover the love of Jesus and the life He offers.

HELPING HANDS
Helping Hands serves families in need by helping provide safe and stable housing support through practical building projects. This ministry gives volunteers a hands-on way to love their neighbors and bring hope to families in our region.

PINE SPRINGS CAMP
Pine Springs Camp helps children, students, and adults encounter Jesus through worship, recreation, community, and adventure in the Laurel Highlands. For generations, this camp has created space for people to grow in faith and experience life-changing connections.

CANINES FOR CHRIST
Canines for Christ shares the love and comfort of Jesus through animal-assisted therapy. By visiting schools, nursing homes, churches, and community spaces, this ministry brings joy, peace, and encouragement to people who need it most.

Going into the world means joining God’s mission to make Jesus known among all people, near and far. Through global partnerships, missionary care, and hands-on opportunities, we get to support Gospel work across cultures, countries, and communities around the world.

House of Hope in Kenya brings the love of Jesus to vulnerable children, widows, families, and communities through holistic care and Gospel-centered ministry. THE COLELLAS'S | HOUSE OF HOPE
The Colellas are serving with House of Hope in Kitale, Kenya after decades of ministry in the Bahamas. CHRISTIAN BEST CAMPS OF KENYA
Christian Best Camps of Kenya creates Christ-centered camp experiences where urban youth can grow in faith, character, confidence, and leadership. SAMARITAN'S PURSE (OCC)
Operation Christmas Child gives our church a simple, joyful way to share the love of Jesus with children around the world. Each shoebox is filled with gifts, supplies, and the hope of the Gospel, reminding kids that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten by God. (PHOTO GALLERY)

SERVING WORKERS IN THE HARVEST
Serving Workers in the Harvest is helping plant modern, Gospel-centered churches called Centers of Hope to reach the next generation in Ukraine. Since 2022, they have helped launch over 30 new church plants focused on meeting both spiritual and practical needs. By choosing to stay and serve in Ukraine during the war, the Bibles continue to be a powerful picture of faithfulness, courage, and the hope of Jesus.

BEREA BAPTIST INDIA
Berea Baptist India is helping strengthen the church in Hyderabad through expository preaching, discipleship, leadership training, and Gospel-centered ministry. INGALLS CREEK ENRICHMENT CENTER
Andrew and Amy Funka served at Ingalls Creek Enrichment Center in the Cascade Mountains of Washington. The Center helps people connect their faith with their everyday lives so that they can return to their communities better equipped to engage and transform society as followers of Jesus Christ. VERA LAVRINENKO (SWITH)
Vera and the Bible’s ministry focus is on long-term soulwinning through planning modern churches for the younger generation. These new church plants are called Centers of Hope, and over 30 new church plants have
been opened since 2022. They are geared to meet spiritual needs (60%) and physical needs (40%) of the younger generation.

AVANT MINISTRIES
Since 1986. Sergio is currently a professor of counseling, the Coordinator of the M.A. in Counseling program, and Director of the Counseling Center. These responsibilities include teaching classes, scheduling visits by professors from the US, overseeing volunteer counselors in the Counseling Center, and updating courses to stay relevant to the challenges the church is facing.

PIONEERS
The Doolittles serve through two K–12 schools in Hebron and Bethlehem, where students are loved, taught, and shaped in a Christ-centered environment. Through excellent education and faithful ministry, these schools are helping young hearts grow in hope, character, and a desire to make a difference in their communities.
