MISSION

The mission of the church, as outlined in Matthew 28:16-20, is to
go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey Jesus' commands, and assuring them of His continual presence until the end of the age.

VISION

To witness a powerful movement of God along the 219 corridor in our lifetime.
The 219 is a corridor that runs through the geographic area we feel called to serve first.

VALUES

GATHER regularly, GROW intentionally, GO boldly

A spiritual aircraft carrier church.

A modern aircraft carrier is not built to stay in one place; it is designed to equip, deploy, and sustain missions worldwide. Likewise, the church is not just a building; it is a launchpad for equipping and sending believers into the world to fulfill Jesus' mission. In this model, we strategically deploy believers at three levels: Solo, Crew, and Plant Missions.

CORE BELIEFS

The Word

We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as being verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writing and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.
Acts 1:16; II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21

The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Luke 3:22; Matthew 28:19

Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is true God and true Man.
Matthew 1:18-23; John 1:1-3, 14; Luke 1:34-35

The Resurrection
We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into Heaven, and in His present life, which is there for us as High Priest and Advocate.
Matthew 22:31; Acts 1:9; 1 John 2:1-2

Grace
According to the Scriptures, the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and all who believe in Him are saved by grace through faith in His shed blood.
I Corinthians 15:1-3; I Peter 2:24; Romans 10:9; 5:9, 10:13; Ephesians 2:8-9

Mankind
We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God, that all human beings are born in sin, and that this sinful nature is the origin of all sinful acts in thought, word, and deed.
Genesis 1:26-28, 3:1-24; Romans 3:23; 5:12, 6:23; 7:18, 23

Holy Spirit
We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and are eternally secure Children of God.
Titus 3:4-7; 1 John 5:11-13

The Return
We believe in “that blessed hope,” the personal and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Acts 1:11; II Thessalonians 2:2; Matthew 24:44

Satan
We believe in the reality and personality of Satan, the archenemy of God and man and the instigator of sin and death. Satan was defeated at the Cross and will be cast into the lake of fire.
Matthew 13: 19-39; John 8:44; 1 John 3:8; Revelation 20:10

Eternity
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and the lost, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost.
John 3:16; Matthew 25:46; Revelation 20:11-15

Sin
We believe that all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ are called into a life of separation from worldly and sinful practices and should abstain from such behavior as will cause others to stumble or will bring reproach upon Christ.
Romans 12:1-2, 14:13; Ephesians 4:1-2

Eternity
We believe that the Church is composed of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. The Church is the body and bride of Christ. He is the head of the Church.
Ephesians 1:22-23, 5:25-32; 1 Corinthians 12: 12- 31

Baptism
We believe the only biblical ordinances of the church are to celebrate baptism- the immersion of a saved person in the water, setting forth a symbol of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:18- 19; Acts 2:41

Mission
We believe that, in evangelizing the world, the supreme mission of the people of God in this age is to take the gospel to every person and to disciple those who believe.
Matthew 28: 18-19

Communion
The church commemorates Christ’s death until he comes by regularly partaking of the bread and cup of communion.
1 Corinthians 11:20- 34; Luke 22:14-20; Matthew 26:26- 29
